Spring 2010 RTW Overview: Marc Jacobs

One word: RUFFLES
There are ruffles everywhere in this collection. The jackets are also lovely. Some of the colors in this collection were creamy neutral colors, compared to his last year Spring RTW which were dark.

The Man himself, the genius, Marc Jacobs!

Now here is Chanel Iman sporting a lightly fringed look[EDIT: I just noticed that they are RUFFLES!]. What I like about this outfit is the strapless, cropped shirt layered over the (what I think is) jacket. I could care less for the pants, but at least the fringe isn't longer, then it would look....ehhhhh.....
RUFFLES! This whole collection was ATTACK OF THE RUFFLES! I like how this dress flows, and it's airy almost. Kind of reminds me of a Ballerina XD

I have seen this bag more then three times now, but I do like it! The main thing in this outfit is really the Jacket. That's what I like about it, simplicity. Oh, and the RUFFLE turtleneck/ collar is really cool!

Well it's settled, I'm wearing my ruffled blue chiffon blouse tomorrow. Got it from the Miley Cyrus and Max Azria collection at walmart!

BAGS, BAGS, BAGS!!

I just wanted to post something up so here is a post about a couple of bags I really like. I actually own two bags from one of the collections i'm going to put up, and a cell phone case from the other. You can get both of these at Macy's so it's not pricey. I bet most people have seen these bags, but I just like them so much that I wanted to put them up here :)

LeSportsac is the first set, I love how they have over 100 bags/items and then have over 15 prints for each. Then they have the Artist in Residence collection where they will collaborate with different artists to make new prints. Such as Fifi Lapin, the fashionable bunny, she made bags with LeSportsac. Later on I might put up a photo of my two LeSportsac bags that I use for school and everyday. What is good about it: its made out of parachute material, so it's durable......well thats what the company says, but I don't think so, I used one of my bags for school, and it only had two notebooks in it, the most, and I found a small rip on my bag :( That dosen't seem durable at all. A plus that really is true is that it's WATERPROOF! NONE of my stuff were ever wet. (LeSportsac is priced around $30-$180, but you can get it discounted at TJMaxx or Century 21)

The next collection is Tokidoki, this tends to be in the pricey range(for me, $50-$200) so I always look for discounts when i'm shopping for Tokidoki. These are just like LeSportsac but they aren't waterproof or made out of that "parachute" material, and they look sooo much better. It's so cute, they remind me of Japan, and let me tell you, I LOVE Japan. They also come with a little character keychain (called a Qee) with every bag.

Jimmy Choo with H&M, Match Made In Heaven? You Tell Me.

Who's herd of H&M?
*raises hand*
Who's herd of Jimmy Choo?
*raises hand*
Who's herd about the collaboration between the two?
*I'm silent*
Apparently this was talked about since September, and I sit here completely clueless. I received my monthly copy of Teen Vogue (November 2009) and there it was. A three page advertisement for Jimmy Choo + H&M. The prices are great compared to regular Jimmy Choo shoes. The cheapest I have seen is about $350, but the shoes in the H&M + Jimmy Choo collection are $99- $150 and up as far as I can see. There is also a bag priced at $129 and a clutch priced at $99!

Downside. H&M (obviously) are already expecting a huge amount of people showing up, so what they are doing: The first 160 people in line will get bracelets allowing them to shop in the shoe, bag, and accessories area of the store. Now, other people will be able to shop, but they are not allowed to go into those areas. The people with bracelets will have the areas to themselves for 2 hours! After two hours are up, if there is anything Jimmy Choo left in those areas, people w/o bracelets, RUN FOR IT! Most of the items I bet, will be gone, just get what you can. I want to go see them in person(and obviously I'm not buying anything, I'm constantly broke!) but I doubt that there will be any thing left if I got to the H&M in Manhattan. The collection definitely wont be in my mall, the collection is only in select stores. So, without further ado, here are the photos from the collection:

The Jimmy Choo for H&M collection comes out November 14th, 2009. Be in line early!

With Love

EDIT: Please do not quote me on the prices, I am just going by the photos.

My First Fashion Show Post!

Okay, So I'm hoping I don't do this terribly wrong. One thing I already did wrong, The Spring 2010 rtw (Ready To Wear, yeah I just figured that out also) was put up on Style.com over a week ago, so I'm really late. Let me stop criticizing myself.
I'll show you some of my favorite pieces from The Spring 2010 RTW Fashion Show.

Collette Dinnigan
Being that this is a Spring show, I expect to see floral. I love how loose fitting, and flowing are the pieces in this collection are. I would wear this, I bet anyone would!

Elle Saab
This piece has defined sillouette coming from the shoulder pads. I like how the blazer has a ruffle piece from the button and going down and how the the hem of the skirt is laid out.

Giles
Well what can I say? I love the metallic silver. The pants almost seem like leggings. The short fitted blazer is an awesome plus. The little dinosaur(I think) is sooo cute!

Well thats all for now! Thanks for reading!
